Job Description:

DSD Laboratories' Center for Reengineering and Enabling Technology (CRET) is currently searching for experienced Process Transformation Consultants to expand our team. (Consultants to Senior Managers).

DSD Laboratories has tailored the typical Lean methodology commonly used for industrial applications to better meet the demands of a government customer application. This position will deal with Senior Level Leadership as well as Lean / Six Sigma Champions, Sponsors, and Team members.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be able to perform the following functions:

This position will be part of a team guiding and transforming the client's business using Lean / Six Sigma/BPR techniques and methods. This position will be involved in all aspects of deploying Lean/Six Sigma/BPR including training, education, mentoring, and statistical analysis of metrics, and the ability to facilitate Rapid Improvement Events (RIE) in front of cross-functional groups.

Requirements:

Must have at least 3 years in process improvement that includes the following:
1) Lean/Six Sigma/BPR deployment experience in a service environment

2) Lead and or a key player in facilitating groups through RIEs in a Government/Military setting.
3) Microsoft Office products, MS Visio and/or iGrafx

4) Project Management exposure/experience

5) Experience working as part of a larger team

6) Candidates must have the ability to accommodate up to 30-40% travel.

7) Lean Certification
