As part of Raytheon’s team, DSD Laboratories is proud to be one of the May 2010 winners on the $16.4 Billion Rapid Response Third Generation (R2-3G) contract. The work is in support of U. S. Army Communications-Electronics Life Cycle Management Command (CECOM LCMC) Logistics Readiness Center (LRC), headquartered in Fort Monmouth, New Jersey. This Indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract includes multiple tasks to include: Technology Insertion, Systems Integration & Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Software Quality Assurance, Modeling & Simulation, and Test & Evaluation. Task orders will be issued as Time-and-Materials (T&M), Cost Reimbursement (CR), and Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) for a period of five years.
DSD named winning contractor team for the Air Force ECSS Logistics Transformation Office

July 30, 2010 – DSD Labs is proud to announce that we are on the winning contractor team for the Air Force ECSS Logistics Transformation Office (LTO) contract. DSD Labs is a “core” subcontractor team-mate for the prime contractor “IT Transformation JV”. The IT Transformation JV team was awarded one of two prime contracts to compete for a five year $82M ID/IQ tasks to support the Air Force LTO in strategic Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation that includes, technical, functional and managerial expertise.
DSD Labs wins a 5 Year USAF Contract

July 1, 2010 — DSD Labs wins a 5 Year – $11.2 Million Dollar Contract with the United States Air Force (USAF) – Acquisition Community to further develop and manage the Center for Reengineering and Enabling Technology (CRET). This procurement was a full and open competition.
Under this contract, DSD will directly support the Acquisition Chief Process Office (ACPO) – the Air Force process office focused on developing and maintaining the future state of Acquisition for the United States Air Force.
The Center of Excellence is focused on transformation services to the Air Force Acquisition enterprise through the employment of Business Process Reengineering, Change Management, Performance Management, Knowledge Management, and Enterprise Architecture, as well as, LEAN Six Sigma, Instructional Design, and AFSO21 methodologies.
Senior USAF Acquisition leader, Mr. Blaise Durante, will be visiting the local Bridgeport, WV offices in September to rededicate the Center of Excellence after 10+ years of dedicated service by DSD Labs.
Four local DSD Laboratories employees get Headquarters Air Force recognition

On 24 May 2010, four employees from DSD Laboratories Center for Reengineering and Enabling Technologies based in Bridgeport, WV, received official recognition from Headquarters Air Force. The four DSD employees were recognized for excellence in supporting the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force (Acquisition). Mr. Rob Pollock, Director of the Air Force’s Acquisition Chief Process Office (ACPO) and program sponsor came from Washington, DC to present the employees with certificates of appreciation. Mr. Pollock’s key locations include Fairfax, VA, Dayton, OH, and Belington, WV.
The Awardees are:
Mr. Mike Wilhelm of Bridgeport, WV was recognized for his leadership and direction of DSD Laboratories Continuous Process Improvement facilitator program which has provided the USAF with excellent support to over 50 improvement events between 2008 and 2010.
Mr. Scott Sinclair of West Milford, WV was recognized for his professional guidance and leadership in establishing the USAF’s Industrial Insight Division, an Air Force organization that assesses the strength of the Air Force’s supply chain.
Mr. Charles Thurman of Waldorf, MD recognized for his initiative in establishing and tracking progress of 137 interrelated initiatives that are the critical path to completion of the USAF’s Continuous Process Improvement program for 2010.
Mr. Jason Rollins of West Milford, WV recognized for applying his savvy internet skills and abilities to take complex concepts and designing easy-to-use visual displays to help Air Force acquisition professionals become better stewards of our tax payers’ resources.
